The user is expected to register with us and therefore providing personal information as well as security information of the device in question. this then gives us the permission to store location of the device periodically. The user may frequently check their current location and network updates at their will however the device will store it's location continously in the background. In the unfortunate event of the device being lost or stolen our team uses the stored data to track the device's last known location and retrieve it. Should the user be in this unfortunate event they must report the device to their nearest law enforcement and be given a case report with which we will use to request assistance of retrieving the device upon locating it. Once the team togetther with the law assistance successfully retrieve the device we will inform the owner and discuss how the device will be returned.
The time to locate will be based on how far(local or provincial location) the device is found however the retrieval will be considerably longer as law enforcement has to assist.
Unfortunately our current problem is that we can only retrieve the device with the assistance of the law otherwise we will be violating telecommunication licences and regulations therefore, retrieving the device on our own will be seen as malicious.
The user is expected to terminate services with us first with a written report indicating reason(s) for the termination and our team will respond with the relevant termination process.
